There are 2 layers of solving a complex problem but the latter end must always be easy to handle, a technology product might be sophisticated and sometimes simple, but interfaces change how things work. User Interface Designing has been considered a new kid in the industry, a lot of companies have been trying to understand the question “ Why UI /UX ?”
Simple UI is a good and effective marketing tool, people provide quick references for putting up strong and visually appealing interfaces. As an entrepreneur, i felt that yes transactions do matter a lot in terms of evaluation of a business but interfaces led to them. @medzin we have been following a simple UI lately due to the specific business nature, our target audience has been an age group of 30–60 years who demanded a neutral design for easy transactions

Looking forward , User interface programming and architecture played a vital role in placing brands in the market. While the Indian IT industry kept disrupting various trends , day to day e-commerce moved web and mobile . I was a keen observer in terms of startups , technology products and changing market trends . There was a sudden conscience towards bringing out visually appealing designs just like woman would try out a new fairness cream in the market .
Imagine a car dashboard without design sense, you would struggle to find things and operate your car . a good design is just like a Porsche Cayenne Dashboard which is easy to use and costly to buy . Business Intelligence softwares found a great deal out of User interface programming . There were times during the late 90’s when BI was becoming a hot trend but hardly anybody would understand it without training . UI trends and patterns made it look simple and easy to use , the industry picked up and found application from complex business process to day by say sales monitoring for small business . Data was much more visually appealing and anyone could derive the uses out of it .
To understand market penetration, Usability testing is very important term while assessing your product. A good design and experience are said to have scored well in usability testing with a large number of people finding it easy to transact and get familiar with the product.
Technology products in India with good and neutral designs like Amazon, Zomato, Flipkart, Chumbak, Grofers etc. have done fairly well and been iterating on a regular basis to improve interactions with customers.A visually appealing interface needs to have symmetry and defined process while experiencing it.
It is highly recommended to follow a simple and minimal interface to maintain a neutrality for the all the age group of users. A good design is a high-value addition to your business and growth producing marketing tool. Although there are experts who say “3 clicks to a process” is the ideal user experience mechanism but I strongly believe it depends on your product and process which your users prefer to go through in respect to your business.
As a Summary, i would say, always focus on building interfaces and experiences for your technology product which adds a value to your business considering emotions and competitive needs of the customer. A good design is the leader key to engage audiences irrespective of the complexity of your business. Try to keep it simple and make complex things look simple as it is the essence of making a good user interface.Keep Iterating as per your customer demands and pay your designers well so that they can make the best out of it.
